What We Do

Alford Conferences Limited operates in four divisions: event production, specialized publishing, event publicity, and web design.

In September 2020 we launched the annual Nigerian States IGR Awards. IGR means internally generated revenue. The event encourages a healthy competition among the internal revenue service (IRS) of Nigeria’s 37 subnationals. The event is now in its third edition. In 2023, we plan to roll out Alford Business Luncheon, the annual Africa Economy Lecture and the annual EMEA Banking Awards. We plan to host the inaugural World Digital Exhibition (www.worldex.com.ng), slated for February 2024, as well as other events later on in the year: Nigeria Food Surplus Summit, South Africa Nigeria Business Summit (SANIBS), and Global Taxation Summit & Awards.

Established in July 2020, REVENUE magazine typically recognizes, honours and celebrates excellence, leadership, achievement and good governance in both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy, the most populous country in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). It is the official magazine of Nigerian States IGR Awards, EMEA Banking Awards, World Digital Exhibition (Worldex), Alford Business Luncheon, Nigeria Micro Pension Summit, Dublin Digital Government Awards, Africa Venture Capital Awards, Africa Economy Lecture, Nigeria Food Surplus Summit, Municipal Digital Solutions Summit, Nigeria Export 100 Awards, South Africa Nigeria Business Summit (SANIBS), Global Taxation Summit & Awards, and STEM Nigeria Summit. Though it is primarily an event-based publication, REVENUE seeks to be a respected editorial authority in the subjects that it covers: IRS, banking and finance, tech, real estate, and agribusiness. The print copy is circulated mainly at our events. The e-copy is uploaded regularly online www.alfordevents.com/Magazine and www.worldex.com.ng/Magazine.

The event publicity division offers media coverage (in newspapers, TV, radio, news websites, blogs, and social media) for client events. From our inception in 2014 till date, we have offered this service to many clients in Abuja, Lagos and other locations across Nigeria. We also have a rich experience in providing various event management support services in foreign markets for Nigerian clients, as well as in Nigeria for foreign clients.

We have recently started Gurrendi Websites (a Division of Alford Conferences Limited), which we expect to grow into a foremost web design company in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
