What We Do

What We Do

Alford Conferences Limited operates in four divisions: event publicity, publishing, web design, and event production.

The event publicity division offers media coverage (in newspapers, TV, radio, news websites, blogs, and social media) for client events. From our inception in 2014 till date, we have offered this service to many clients in Abuja, Lagos and other locations across Nigeria. We also have a rich experience in providing various event management support services in foreign markets for for Nigerian clients, as well as in Nigeria for foreign clients.

Our publishing division launched the hybrid monthly magazine, REVENUE, in July 2020. The magazine serves, among others, as the official publication of the events of Alford Conferences Limited. Though it is primarily an event-based publication, REVENUE seeks to be a respected editorial authority in the subjects that it covers: IRS, agribusiness, banking, tech, diaspora and exports. The print copy is circulated mainly at our events. The e-copy is uploaded regularly online.

We have recently started Gurrendi Websites, which we expect to grow into a leading web design company in Nigeria and throughout Africa.

The event production division is the core of our business. In September 2020 launched the annual Nigerian States IGR Awards. IGR means internally generated revenue. The event encourages a healthy competition among the internal revenue service (IRS) of Nigeria’s 37 subnationals. In November 2021, we rolled out the quarterly Public Sector Excellence Award, aimed at recognizing, honouring, and celebrating unquestionable excellence amongst the leaders of the agencies, commissions, councils, and corporations of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN).

In 2022/2023, we are in the process of birthing other events: Nigeria Food Surplus Summit (incorporating the annual Nigeria Netherlands Agribusiness Week), Abuja Global Forum, EMEA Banking Awards, World Digital Exhibition (incorporating the monthly Nigeria Digital Government Award), Diaspora Nigeria Leadership Awards (to be held annually in designated locations abroad), Nigeria 2050 Briefing, Nigeria Export 100 Awards, and ECOWAS Property Awards.

Other event products slated for launch in 2024/2025 include: Nigeria-UAE Digital Show, Nigeria-China Digital Show, Nigeria-USA Digital Show, and STEM Nigeria Summit.
