1st European African Business Forum 2026

The forthcoming European African Business Forum (EABF) seeks to bring private equity investors, venture capital investors, and business angel investors, and others from the 48 countries of Europe to meet with the CEO and managers of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) drawn from the 54 countries of Africa in Lisbon, Portugal every month, starting from July 2026. We project that, through this monthly event, European investors (with available funds between EUR 100,000 and EUR 100,000,000) will inject a minimum of EUR 100 billion into existing and startup micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Africa over the 10 years period July 1, 2026-June 30, 2036. Collectively the 48 countries of Europe form the wealthiest place on Earth, while collectively the 54 countries of Africa offer the most fertile potential markets in the world. Majority of these markets are often virgin or near virgin. The advocacy behind this monthly EABF is therefore a win-win for all interested participants from both continents in 2026 and beyond.

From Europe, the target conference participants for each edition of the monthly conference are private equity investors, venture capital investors, business angel investors, and others. We collaborate with conference publicity and marketing partners mandated to sell this monthly event to participants from:

• The 13 countries of Eastern Europe: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Belarus, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Georgia, Moldova and Armenia
• The 10 countries of Northern Europe: UK, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Iceland
